Because Raw was generally pre-taped in its early years, WCW's Eric Bischoff would often spoil the results of the program on Nitro, which was aired live every week. During the '90s, Raw had fierce competition in the form of WCW Monday Nitro, which led to the legendary period known as the Monday Night Wars, a source of the industry's biggest success (and some of its most famous take thats).
